Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Spinqlub ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Spinqlub mobile application. By using Spinqlub you agree to this policy.

1. What we collect

Account info — name, email address, and profile photo from your Google sign-in.
Profile content — the name, bio, and photos you upload.
Location — precise GPS latitude/longitude when you grant permission. We store this to surface people nearby.
Date of birth — to verify you are 18 or older.
Preferences — gender, who you're looking to meet, age range, distance.
Messages — the content of messages you send through the app, for delivery, moderation, and generating AI-assistant replies.
Usage and device data — crash reports, anonymous usage events, device model, OS version, FCM push token.

2. How we use it

To run the service: deliver messages, surface profiles, operate the AI-assistant layer that mediates conversations before reveal.
To verify eligibility (18+).
To keep the community safe — automated moderation scans messages for content that violates our community rules (harassment, sexual content, violence, self-harm).
To send push notifications about your conversations and matches.
To diagnose crashes and improve the app.

3. Who we share it with

Other users — post-reveal, another matched user sees your name, bio, photos, and messages you've sent them.
Google Firebase — authentication, database, storage, messaging, crash reporting. Data is hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure.
Anthropic — the AI-assistant that generates opening questions and continuation replies processes message content via Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic does not train on this content.
Nobody else — we do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account (Settings → Delete account), we permanently remove your profile, photos, messages, and conversations within 30 days. Backups are purged on a rolling 90-day cycle. Moderation logs tied to violations may be retained for safety purposes beyond that period.

5. Your rights

Access — you can see your profile and conversations directly in the app.
Deletion — use Settings → Delete account.
Revoke location — toggle it off in your Android system settings; you may lose matching features.

6. Children

Spinqlub is for adults 18 and older only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest on Google Cloud. Photos are not visible to other users until you mutually reveal. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no service is perfectly secure.

8. International transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be surfaced in the app. The version identifier at the top reflects the current policy.
